The first Estonian BioGov.net Co-creation Laboratory took place on May 8th. Esteemed experts in the blue economy field convened to address industry challenges, available resources, and necessary transformations for a more promising future.
The participants from the University of Tartu, Estonian University of Life Sciences, Ministry of Rural Affairs, Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia, Environmental Investment Center, and Estonian Maritime Industry Association collaborated to map the challenges faced by Estonia’s blue economy, assess the sector’s human resources, and explore possibilities for the future. Throughout the workshop, participants were exposed to case studies and best practices compiled by the BioGov.net consortium, which sparked innovative ideas and engaging discussions.
The workshop was organized by Civitta and led by Liina Vaher and Mari Saar.
